estudio de caso hipersalino

Liquid Integrity Systems was called to survey this single-lined HDPE pond, which contained heavy sediment and relatively large infrastructure, including an aerator, gangway, and level sensor. The site exists on a steep slope, with no option to remove the infrastructure.

The site was surveyed in just one day with one leak signature detected.

Fortunately, the leak was detected reasonably high on the wall, so the client was able to drop the water level, make the repair, and continue with almost no interruption to site operations.

estudio de caso de aguas residuales

This newly commissioned 10ha double-lined HDPE pond began leaking beyond the allowable leakage rate (ALR). After draining the entire pond to a level at which a technician could wade through the water, conventional leak detection methods were applied. Three leaks were detected, the water was drained for repairs, and the pond was refilled; however, the pond continued to leak above the ALR. Liquid Integrity Systems was then invited to survey the site to find additional leaks.

Three days were spent surveying the site, and an additional 15 leaks were detected.

The pond was drained again, and each leak was quickly and easily located and confirmed using a handheld GPS. Repairs were promptly carried out, and the pond was filled and reported to be leak-free.

estudio de caso de relaves

Liquid Integrity Systems was asked to survey multiple clay-lined lagoons believed to be leaking, but the client didn't know from where.

Data was collected across the 8ha site over four days, and an anomalous area was detected.

The data collected was converted into a 3D seepage model that mapped anomalies below the lagoons' clay liner. This model indicated a target zone for repairs.
